We're at the moment looking for clever candidates for two Diploma / MSc projects in the nanotube transport and nanomechanics group Regensburg:
- fabrication, characterization, and integration of ultra-clean carbon nanotube resonators:
Your project will be to optimize and improve the carbon nanotube fabrication, build mechanical suspended nanotube resonators, and help us integrate them into more complex superconducting circuits. - radio-frequency cryo-nanoelectronics:
Your project will be to help design and develop superconducting low-temperature high-frequency electronics for use in the nanomechanics experiments.
In both cases, you will work in close cooperation with colleagues from several carbon nanotube projects. Contact Andreas K. Hüttel (e-mail: andreas.huettel@physik.uni-r.de) if you're interested! Regensburg students only, sorry!
